Our treasurer, Gaétan Lapierre, at the helm of "Gaillard", his 30' Hunter sailboat. Gaétan has been sailing since 1979. He started with a 17' Siren and worked his way up over 32 years to this beautiful Hunter. She's a recent purchase, and when Gaétan is familiar with her he plans to venture into new waters. For now he enjoys leisurly cruises on Lake St-Louis, or anchoring in a sheltered cove overnight. He docks at Ile Perrot Yacht Club.

Our executive officer, Richard Larivière, at the helm of "Indian Summer 1", a 34' Tartan Classic sailboat. Richard's home port is on Lake Champlain where these exciting pictures were taken.

Peter Sharp is our squadron's supply officer. He owns this     sailboat with John McLaughin, another WIS member. The beautiful sunset is on Lac St. Pierre.

Our webmaster Patricia Vollstaedt only started sailing 3 years ago. Patricia and her husband Michel are the proud owners of this 1986 Jeanneau Fantasia 27, "Oceane 10". They are practicing on the lovely Lake St-Louis and plan to sail further next summer.
